ART2000

Helen R. Kamins founded ART2000(R) in the late 1990's ... a trademarked company that encompasses products and services beyond HR Kamins' original paintings.

Included in this work is a self-published book "Does Dixie Like Me?" about a rescued dog, the restoration of an 1849 house while maintaining worn and historic features, logo designs, interior murals, and book jacket illustrations.

Back before the turn of the new millennium, Helen felt a trend where people would gravitate towards products that were not mass-manufactured and which reflected 'the hand of the maker'. This lead to designing enigmatic pictographs, that transcend time and cultures, and translating them onto a line of jewelry composed of high-fired enamel and silver.

Currently, ART2000's focus has been creating upcycled pieces by recycling numerous materials, much of which are washed-up onto local shores.

Since March of 2018 HR Kamins has developed a weekly workshop providing
creative outlets for the guests and staff of the Cape Ann Grace Center, Gloucester Massachusetts.
